Beach House Bates Family Reunion 2012

We had a blast on this family trip arranged by Reid and Kathy! Thank you so much for the great time!! We went hiking, biking and swimming. We played games, went to the beach, and ate yummy food. We loved every moment!!

It's a girl- Laura's Baby Shower's!!

My sister-in-law Laura is having a baby girl!! I am so happy for Jeff and Laura they are going to be great parents!!

Seafair Ship Tour August 2012

Jeff, Marie, Claire, Laura, JT and I toured a working Navy ship. I had never seen anything like it.

Moving Day July 2012

Jeff and I are moving to Lacey, WA!! This picture was taken after Jeff and I loaded the moving truck. We couldn't have done it with out the help of Jeff's cousin Westen! We were exhausted.

2 months apart

Jeff and I spent 2 months living in different cities(6 hours apart). He moved to Olympia for work and I was living in Spokane working and finishing our lease. We talked everyday on the phone and spent a lot of time on skype. I am so grateful for technology! When we finally saw each other face to face for the 1st time we were like strangers to one another. Jeff called me "the women on the phone or phone women." The picture above is a picture of our reunion.

1st Anniversary

Hiking in Spokane!

Jeff and I LOVE hiking!! Spokane has great hiking trails! These are just a few examples of how georgeous Spokane really is. We were able to see wildlife in its natural habitat. Some of the animals we saw were: a cougar, snakes, deer, ducks, storks and other fowl. In one day we walked side by side with a deer just after we had seen others running and playing through the field. We saw a snake, a stork. And I think the most amazing thing we saw that day was, about 100-200 birds dancing through the air over the Spokane little river.
